HANA-LI
Currently based in Clearwater Fl, this singer/songwriter has traveled the world, performing in Florida, St. Louis, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, San Jose and San Fransisco, the Caribbean, England, Suriname (South America) and Mali, Swaziland and Lesotho (Africa), where she sang for the king.
She began singing at the young age of two and never looked back. She spent two years singing back up for Isaac Hayes, Kate Ceberano, Doug E. Fresh and has sung with Chick Corea and Mark Isham. She is now in the studio recording her debut album.
She possesses a unique quality in the level of communication she delivers to her audience. "Everyone deserves that level of intimacy from me as a performer and I never want to lose that quality." She started writing her own songs five years ago to take that intimacy to the next level. "Every word I sing means something to me whether it's through my own eyes or through the eyes of others that I've observed. I'm not just in this business to sing, I'm in it to reach out as far as I possibly can and touch people's lives and inspire them to reach out in their turn. This planet has problems, of course, but it also has a lot of beauty. We're here this time for a reason and I believe that reason is to make a difference.”
